Enough: Just be still

Hello my faithful readers!!

For weeks I have been writing notes, meditating, eating healthy, you know all the things the 'gurus' tell you to do in your search for self awareness, but I was having a really hard time focusing or writing any notes.

I was preoccupied with my own anxiety of not being 'enough'.

Not smart enough, not tough enough, not fast enough, not kind enough, not interesting enough, not pretty enough, not good enough, not compassionate enough, not flexible enough...the list is endless.

But none the less, I did what I set out to do today.
I have been researching Feng Shui and I did the same, mundane chores I do everyday, but with the intent of removing blockage and avoiding my anxiety.
I really dislike confronting self-denial, but who likes it?

As I am about to go clean the bathroom, I hear a knock on the door.
Its the maintenance man asking me if there is a leak in my bathroom, which there is.
The faucet has been leaking for weeks and in my preoccupation, I could not focus on a simple thing like calling the leasing office to get it fixed.
He was in and out in less than 10 mins.

And in that moment, I knew

"Be Still, Stay Open, Already Done."

All I did was change the intentions of my thoughts to gratitude and I got what I needed physically without ever asking for it.

It is in the small moments like that where we learn our biggest lessons.

It is on the days that we are most anxious that we should send out the most <3, be the most grateful and be the most quiet so that we can here the whispers that come right before the breakthrough.

"Kill your anxiety by being kind to yourself."

I would love to hear from you: Let me know your thoughts

Thank you for taking the time to visit!
